Album: Combat Rock
Released: 1982
Theme: punk
I believe this is a classic on the band's 5th studio album, which is one of my favorites because all the tunes sound so different and to the core.
I'm bad for not posting more Clash.
Album: Strangeways, Here We Come
Released: 1987
Theme: quintessential 80's
A perfect song for a melancholy Monday night. Strangeways is one of my favorite albums by the band because it was the 1st one I listened to - odd as it was the last one recorded.
Love the opening base line; it's like you're being led down an empty hallway to something mysterious.
Album: Supernatural
Released: 1990
Theme: alternative dance
Don't know if I'd call this alternative, however, it sounds good and brings back good memories. Memories of having no big cares, chilly air, cool clubs and cool chics.
Album: EP Fascination!
Released: 1983
Theme: quintessential 80's
This is my favorite tune by this band. I love the words (and I'm not really a words guy) and the way the rhythm makes me feel.
