My formative years were spent in the 80's with foundational bands like New Order, Depeche Mode, Echo & the Bunnymen, The Cure, and Jane's Addiction. Even though the 80's was the pioneer decade for the alternative genre, this music transcended into the 90's and to some cool tunes today which could be classified as alternative. Hopefully, this site will bring back some good memories and introduce some things you haven't heard before.

Feedback and suggestions are welcome.

Enjoy.

'Inbetween Days' by The Cure

Album: The Head on the Door
Released: 1985
Theme: quintessential 80's

So I've had a few glasses of wine and came to the epiphany that I need more Cure on SoDA - maybe a week of Cure??

Head on the Door is quintessential Cure and this song makes me feel gooooood.

By the way, the video is from The Cure from "Théatre Antique d'Orange" in France and is an excellent video if you get a chance to check see.
